Self-built Solution
The Dolphin Laser Safety Curtain Pod is made of Lasermet’s Dolphin Laser Blocking Curtain material, which is certified to EN 12254 Laser Working Place Screens.
The Dolphin Pod is a 2.4m (8ft) cube with laser-blocking curtains that allows users of handheld laser welding devices to work without putting nearby workers in danger from stray laser radiation. It is delivered flat-pack as a low-cost, self-assembly pod for the customer’s easy transport and assembly. This means it can be disassembled quickly and easily and rebuilt in a different location if necessary.
The standard enclosure includes a manual curtain door and an open roof for ventilation.
INTERLOCK® OPTIONS
The Dolphin Pod includes an Interlock® upgrade option which comprises safety interlock switches, a dual-message LED warning sign, and emergency stops, all of which are linked to an Interlock® Controller.
